Finial for Mill of Kintail
A design for a finial to decorate the newly restored Mill of Kintail, original home of Tate and Ethel McKenzie.
The theme is "poetry and music".
The rectilinear sketch is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and reflects something of the era in which Mrs. Ethel McKenzie lived.
The developed idea is bringing aspects of nature and movement into those of music and poetry and is more feminine.
